Springtime is with us again. In spring it is difficult to say what kind of weather we will have – sometimes brilliant sunny days, at others cool even cold winds, sometimes rain and on other days just clouds. But whilst the elements might play surprises on us humans it certainly does not surprise nature. Once the ground begins to warm up the fynbos flowers know that it is their time to put on a display and from mid-August to mid-September they treat us to a wonderful show.
This year, following our bush fire of six months ago, the undergrowth is burnt off and the flowers are taking ‘centre stage’ – here are a few of our ‘stars’
